Make a Mechanical Puppet | Fort Calgary Education Centre
We are thrilled to bring pupperty to this year’s Beakerhead! Combine puppet creation with low-tech mechanics and an outer space theme to make an astronaut ‘jumping jack toy’. Cost: $10/person.

Join the Liberal Association of Calgary Centre and MP Kent Hehr for the annual Family BBQ. Come out and have lunch, get to know your local representatives and enjoy an afternoon with the family.

Remax Family Fun Day | Cardel Rec Centre
As always admission is free however if you decide you’d like to have your face painted or participate in any of the activity stations there is a small fee of $15 which will give the visitor unlimited access to all the activity stations. * All proceeds raised at the event go directly to the Children’s Miracle Network and Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation.  Activities include: dunk tank, laser tag, haunted house, gladiator gym, bounce castles, face painting, glitter tattoos,  batting cage, bungee run, car show and more.

Cranston Corn Boil and Chili Cook Off | Cranston Community
Our annual Corn Boil is back, with a new twist. We want to know who makes the best chili in Cranston! If you think you’re up to the challenge join our first annual Chili cook-off. Of course we will still have your favourite activities like the petting zoo, games and a watermelon eating contest.
